Prime Legal, alongside Florentia and in support of Advocates Association Bangalore, organized a groundbreaking awareness event against child abuse on November 9, 2024. This significant 7K awareness track was a historic initiative for Karnataka’s legal community, emphasizing a unified effort to address and combat child abuse.
The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Makkimane Ganeshaiah Uma and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vedavyaschar Srihananda of the Karnataka High Court. Distinguished figures, including Mr. Vivek Subba Reddy (Senior Counsel and President of the Advocates Association Bangalore), Mr. T.G. Ravi (General Secretary), Mr. Harish M.T., Mr. A.P. Ranganath, Mr. Sivaramu H.G., and Mr. R. Rajanna, also graced the occasion, underscoring the initiative’s gravity.
Hon’ble Justice Hemant Chandangoudar and Mr. A.S. Ponnanna, Senior Advocate and MLA from Virajpet, later joined for the prize distribution ceremony, concluding the event with the active participation of esteemed guests. This one-of-a-kind 7K track reflected the community’s dedication to protecting children and promoting awareness.

4. Championing Justice: Standing Strong for Victims, Delivering Results
Prime Legal is recognized as one of the top criminal law firms in Bangalore, renowned for its team of exceptional lawyers. In a recent high-profile case involving the rape, blackmail, and physical abuse of a victim, Ms. ABC, Prime Legal provided unwavering support.
The accused, under the pretense of marriage, sexually exploited the victim for nine months. During this period, she became pregnant, and her pregnancy was forcefully terminated in July/August 2024. On 12th November 2024, the accused fled, taking all her belongings, and responded with abusive language when she tried to contact him. Despite approaching multiple police stations, the victim’s pleas went unheard.
Seeking justice, she turned to Prime Legal for free legal aid and advice. The Prime Legal team stood by her side, ensuring all legal formalities were completed. On 22nd November 2024, they filed an application to register the couple’s marriage, which is now pending further updates. We extend our best wishes to the couple for a happy future together.
