“Aam Sabha” must complete post of Anganwari Sevika accordance with law for the centre Durga Mandir Tol Pipraun: Patna High Court

As the advertisement for the selection of Anganwari Sevika/Saha was published in the year 2018, and despite three dates being set, “aam Sabha” has yet to be convened for one reason or another, leaving the process inconclusive,  the concerned respondent must complete the process of selection and appointment to the post of Anganwari Sevika is upheld by the High Court of Patna through the learned bench led by HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE P. B. BAJANTHRI  in the case of Arti Kumari Vs. The State of Bihar (Civil Writ Jurisdiction Case No. 1794 of 2022)

Brief facts of the case are that the writ petition seeks an order/orders, direction/direction to the respondents to declare a date and organise an aamsabha for the selection of Anganwari Sevika in accordance with law for the centre Durga Mandir Tol Pipraun; Centre No. 155, ward no. 10 of Panchayat Pipraun of Block Harlakhi, Madhubani, as the advertisement for the selection of Anganwari Sevika/Saha. The advertisement for the selection of Anganwari Sevika/Sahaiyka was published in the year 2018, and despite three dates being set, “aam Sabha” has yet to be convened for one reason or another, leaving the process inconclusive.

Court directed that within three months of receipt of this judgement, the concerned respondent must complete the process of selection and appointment to the post of Anganwari Sevika for Centre No. 155, Ward No. 10 of Panchayat Pipraun, Block-Harlakhi, District- Madhubani. Thus, the instant petition stands disposed of.
